In general terms, the Head of Learning Support is responsible for organising and monitoring the work of the Learning Support department, allocating staff to appropriate tasks and assessing how the resources of the department will be used to best effect.
This is a newly defined management role created in response to an increase in the breadth of the School's learning support need. It is a significant part time post, to be worked over four days per week; work pattern to be discussed at interview.
All teaching staff are expected to contribute to the pastoral and enrichment programmes of the School. All staff share the responsibility for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of the students, in accordance with the School’s safeguarding policies.
