We are seeking an effective and responsible individual to join the St Swithun’s Domestic department. The Domestic team (led by the Domestic Manager and Supervisor) form part of the Operations Department, which looks after standards of building and decoration across the site, and drives continuous improvement.
Routine cleaning takes place during term time and deep cleaning is ordinarily carried out during the school holidays. The Evening Domestic Coordinator is expected to take a keen interest in the cleanliness of the school at all times, both when the girls are in residence in term time and during the holiday periods when other activities are taking place, which can include residential camps for adults and children.
The Evening Domestic Coordinator will be required to work in all areas of the school as required, this includes boarding and educational spaces, washrooms, kitchens and offices. They must be adaptable and be prepared to work in a different area at a moment’s notice, in order to coordinate and support the needs of the school and to operate effectively as a department.
Closing date for applications: 9am, Monday 5th December 2022. Applications can be submitted using the school application form here.
Applications will be considered as they are received and we reserve the right to close the application process early.
For an informal discussion and the role and requirements, please contact Sandra Kelly, Domestic Manager via firstname.lastname@example.org or call 01962 835233.
