Applications are invited from candidates who hold or are working towards recognised qualifications in SEND and experience of teaching children with specific learning difficulties is essential. Alongside a joint SENCO, the successful applicant will be responsible for the running of the department and management of other members of staff including teachers and teaching assistants. He/she/they will be passionate about the subject, rigorous in enforcing high academic standards, and hold enthusiasm for the continued development of the department.
Strong organisational and administrative skills with excellent interpersonal and team-working skills are essential for this post. A keen and up-to-date interest in SEND and pastoral support, will be needed for this role. Applicants must be prepared to contribute fully to the life of the School.
