School Facilities Officer

North West London
Full-time
05 Sep

We are looking for a Facilities Officer who relishes the challenges and opportunities that a multi-site school presents and is experienced in managing health and safety.

Arnold House was founded in 1905 in St John’s Wood. It is an independent preparatory school located in London, NW8, for boys from 3 to 13, and a member of IAPS (Independent Association of Prep Schools).

A thriving school, Arnold House is going through an exciting period of change and growth. With the recent opening of our Early Years setting, the purchase of a new building, and the appointment of a new Headmaster, Arnold House is ready for the next chapter in its history. As such we have created a new role at the School, that of School Facilities Officer. The role is an integral one to the senior leadership team, the staff and of course the boys and their families.

We are looking for someone who relishes the challenges and opportunities that a multi-site school presents. The role would suit someone who enjoys a varied working day, is ambitious for themselves and the School and who is already innovating and adding value in their current or previous roles.

Whilst we have a list of task-related responsibilities, we are looking for someone who can positively influence the staff and boys, supporting a culture of shared responsibility when it comes to creating a safe, happy and comfortable environment. As such this role requires excellent communication skills and a solution-based attitude.

We offer a competitive salary, generous holidays and a contributory pension scheme. There are free lunches during term time and a cycle to work scheme.

As an employer we are committed to promoting and protecting the mental and physical health of all our staff.

Arnold House School is an independent day school for boys aged 5 to 13.
