Sailing Coach

RHS is looking to appoint a capable, enthusiastic and well qualified RYA Senior Instructor to a full-time post in the Sailing Department with effect from September 2022. It is expected that the appointee will teach dinghy and keelboat sailing to Year 7 through to Year 13.

Responsibilities will include, working as part of the Sailing Department, providing tuition to the School’s pupils up to 6 days per week throughout the academic year and to be able to take a leading role in coaching school pupils ranging from beginners to students in our elite fleet and team racing squads.

The successful applicant will also be expected to be competent in boat maintenance and care and preferably have a RYA Windsurfing Instructor qualification along with a Powerboat Instructor qualification and race coaching experience.

The ability to drive a school minibus is essential.

Candidates will have the energy and enthusiasm required to commit to a large boarding and day school.
