We are seeking a confident, self-motivated individual to join our dynamic, forward-thinking and supportive Physical Education & Sports department. We aim to recruit an individual who would enjoy the opportunity to assist with the delivery of all areas of the Physical Education curriculum. We set high standards for teaching and learning and our students have very good levels of attainment and engagement.
Expertise and the ability to coach Lacrosse is essential as you will be involved in supporting our curricular and extra-curricular programme; this includes the school’s schedule of fixtures and activities during the week and at weekends. The ability to run squad training sessions and to plan, lead and deliver group activities will be required. An interest or experience of coaching football and/or netball would also be an advantage.
This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic individual, who has a passion for lacrosse and Physical Education or is looking to gain experience ahead of University or undertaking a PGCE. Holding or working towards a Level 1 award in umpiring and/or coaching lacrosse would be highly advantageous.
This permanent position is offered on a part time basis, 30 hours per week, term time only. The current working hours are Monday – Thursday 12.30pm - 6.30pm and Saturday 7.30am -1.30pm although this may be subject to change.
